What the number does not include.
Charged once, per run
Credits are spent when a run reads your source minutes. Re-styling a finished clip - new caption text, a different preset, a different framing or a new burned-in title - costs nothing while the source is retained. A run that fails, or one you cancel while it is queued, returns its credits.
Questions about counting credits.
60 credits. One credit is one minute of source video, rounded up to the next whole minute, and you are charged on the file you upload rather than on the number of clips that come back - a 60-minute episode costs 60 credits whether it returns 3 clips or 12.
Up. A 61-minute-and-10-second recording costs 62 credits. The rounding is per file, so uploading two 30-minute-and-30-second recordings costs 62 credits, not 61.
They come back. Credits are charged when the run starts and refunded if it fails for good or if you cancel it while it is still queued. A failed run also cleans up its partial output.
Plan credits refresh monthly. Credits bought as a top-up pack are separate from the monthly allowance - the billing page shows both balances, and the pricing page states the current terms for each plan.
No. While the source is retained, changing the caption text, caption style, framing, burned-in title or boundaries inside the clip's original generated timeline costs no credits. Once the source expires or is deleted, the finished MP4 stays downloadable but can no longer be edited or re-rendered.
